Job Description
This is a direct hire full-time role with a premier mid-sized company that offers great career growth; this would be a great match for someone with 2+ years of related Treasury Money Market operations and/or trade support experience who would like to get onto a career track that will eventually lead to execution trading.
Please note that this is a hybrid onsite role that requires onsite work 2-3 days per week in Midtown Manhattan.
As a Treasury Money Market Specialist you will work in the front office, responsible for inputting Money Market transactions, conducting KYC profiles, monitor trading limits, ensuring proper closing balances, and liaise with the middle office and back office regarding settlement issues.
In summary, you will:
- Input Money Market Transactions (CD/CP, repos, money market deposits and placement, internal loans, Cross Currency Swaps,…)
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) profiles.
- Check the USD overnight position to ensure all Debit/Credit from various groups are matched with actual incoming/outgoing funds.
- Review reports for accuracy to ensure the proper closing balance is left in the account.
- 2+ years of relevant treasury money market support experience.
- Knowledge of Money Market financial products (CD/CP, repos, money market deposits and placement, internal loans, Cross Currency Swaps,…), ability to work with many complex transactions, and understand balance sheet mechanics.
- Excellent communication skills required
- Completed Bachelor's degree with a quantitative course of study such as Economics, Finance, Math, Physics,… strongly preferred.
