Job Description

You will lead a small team of systems engineers responsible for daily support and new projects including support for virtualization platforms (VMWare), storage, capacity and performance management, systems engineering of server requirements for Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange (On-prem and cloud), DNS and DHCP.
In summary, you will:
- Lead a small team of engineers regarding daily activities and project participation
- Serve as primary Technical Project Lead for a server infrastructure projects
- Serve as Team Lead on Active Directory administration, maintenance, and operations; troubleshooting and testing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Serve as Team Lead for VMware VSphere administration, troubleshooting, operations, and design
- Provide Microsoft Exchange Server support for both On-Prem and cloud
- Perform daily monitoring: verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Develop and maintain procedures and runbooks for the team, assist in planning and execution of disaster recovery testing, reporting of metrics and support other management reporting functions
- Be a key point of contact for audit and compliance scenarios
Requirements include:
- VMware VSphere, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Powershell, Windows 2019/2022, M365 family of products, DNS, SCCM, In-tune, Backup/restore, systems monitoring.
- Team lead experience
- Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
- Helpful but not required: SQL Server, BigFix, ServiceNow, MS Project
- Completed Bachelor’s degree with Computer Science or related (math, engineering,...) course of study
- Microsoft certifications preferred, CISSP a plus
