High Profile Asset Management Company seeks Senior Credit Analyst with Project Finance background.

This is a direct hire full-time hybrid onsite 2 days per week in Manhattan role with an organization that offers competitive compensation and an amazing benefits package.

Working in a Specialty Finance Department you will be responsible for credit evaluation and deal maintenance supporting origination, booking and and monitoring of credit facilities for bilateral and syndicated loan transactions in clean energy Project Finance.

In summary, you will:
  • Review potential assets in assigned products/industries and prepare credit applications and make investment recommendations.
  • Monitor assigned assets/products/industries to maintain credit quality through asset/product/industry appropriate measures, i.e., financial analysis and trends, cross-sectional analysis, cashflow analysis and market value/liquidity.
  • Prepare all applications and reports and make recommendations on all amendments, refinancings and other ongoing activities.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting requirements, including rating review, business review of documentation, regulatory review, booking and financial and portfolio review requirements, with support from Operations Analyst.
  • May conduct business development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable investment guidelines and directives from Head Office and Branch Management.
  • May conduct or support deal structuring activities.
Requirements include:
  • MBA degree with 5+ years of related Project Finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US renewable market including experience with tax equity structures
  • Experience with Trade and Commodities and Aviation helpful but not required
  • Capable of analyzing complex financial models and run internal sensitivity analysis. 
  • Advanced in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access).
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of the banking industry, its products and services. 
  • Responsible for related compliance work, identifies and understands the risks and laws involved in the department operations.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of employees.
