Job Description
We are hiring for an immediate 6+ month Regulatory Reporting contract.
This is a hybrid onsite 2 days per week role in midtown Manhattan providing hands-on FR 2052a (Complex Institution Liquidity Monitoring Report) reporting project work as the bank refreshes the 2052a Reporting system.
This is a hybrid role onsite 2-3 days per week in midtown Manhattan.
Please note that this role is does not involve actually doing the 2052a reporting, you will function as the SME on for the Accounting Group on a 2052a reporting refresh project.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide expertise and guidance on FR 2052a reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Update procedures related to FR 2052a reporting
- Implement action plans to remediate audit issues – this includes understanding the issue, analyzing source data, writing functional specifications for IT to automate data sourcing and reporting, and performing User Acceptance Testing.
- Monitor and track the status of audit findings to ensure timely closure
- Prepare and present reports on the progress and resolution of audit findings to management
Requirements include:
- 4+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, liquidity risk management, or related financial services roles.
- Deep knowledge FR 2052a reporting requirements and liquidity risk management principles
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software: Excel, SQL, Access,...
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in managing and closing audit findings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop effective solution
- Completed Bachelor's degree
