Expanding Fintech Company seeks OMS-EMS FIX API Integration Software Engineer to be the CRD (Charles River) subject matter expert, taking ownership of CRD related FIX/API integration programming projects.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced software engineer to do innovative and interesting bespoke projects working as part of small tight-knit team of very talented software engineers.
This role is mostly remote with onsite work in the Stamford Connecticut area required ~2-3 days per month.

You will work directly with senior managers and clients to understand problems and then build elegant solutions. This will include working on feature development, testing, bug fixing, maintenance, and support of FIX, gRPC, and web service API interfaces to OMS.
- Develop C# code to enhance the Charles River IMS integration.
- Coding/enhancing the interface with CRD FIX system.
- Interface with CRD web services and XML messaging APIs.
- Debug inter-system mapping, logic, and workflow issues.
- Test and deploy code for use in production
Requirements include:
- 5+ years of experience in a development-related role
- CRD (Charles River) SME
- Strong C#.NET
- Troubleshooting FIX and webservice API connectivity/logical issues.
- Understanding of CRD nuances in fixed income, FX, and OTC derivative asset classes workflows.
- Fluency in resultsets, configurations, and blotter buttons for CRD.
- Extensive experience coding and debugging in CRD's FIX Message adapter and FMC Plugin.
- Deep experience using CRD FIX and web service APIs (Trading, SecuritiesAndIssuers and Compliance).
- Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably with Computer Science or other quantitative course of study (math, physics,...)
