Job Description
You will be imbedded in a business group for a core banking system upgrade project representing the business group You will be expected to face off with IT, vendors and other internal resources as the Business Group Project Manager.
This is a hybrid onsite 2 days per week in midtown Manhattan.
In summary, you will:
- For a a core banking system upgrade project., evaluate the operation of the business processes, make proposals for improvement and engage in many related project tasks
- Develop the Business Process Reengineering plan, scope, objectives, including the schedule and budget.
- Create business improvement tools such as EUC.
- Execute project plan with relevant stakeholder by creating, monitoring progress and managing/mitigating risks.
- Communicate with stakeholders and secure necessary resources for project advancement.
- Report BPR project results and make recommendations for improvement.
- Strong banking IT applications project management experience
- Experience with banking core General Ledger systems a must
- Ability to analyze current state processes, propose and track future state suggested improvements.
- Extensive MS Project experience
