Top Company seeks Support Specialist for the Equities Trading Desk with strong Order Management System (OMS) skills and experience.
You will serve as the on-site troubleshooter for the traders and sales team taking ownership all systems and user issues relating to the OMS.
This will involve interfacing with several other business groups, technology staff, and vendors providing the highest level of professional support.
This is a tremendous opportunity to join a growing enterprise Equities trading group in a highly visible role.
In summary, you will:
* Provide direct OMS related technical support for both domestic and international equity trading desks
* Train new users and handle any new releases or updates to system
* Handle strategic troubleshooting issues related to the OMS system including user issues, pilot errors,...
* Heavy interaction and collaboration with traders, sales team, OMS provider staff, and other IT staff
* In-depth experience working with various OMS solutions such as Advent, Charles River, Fidessa,... with a focus on front end trading systems
* Superior understanding of equity trading as it relates to system usage, you must understand all related aspects: technical, operational, and business
* Extremely responsive to client needs; strong client service skills and equities product knowledge
* Completed college degree with Computer Science or related course of study
